Does anyone else feel like there is a cycle of time that just replays over and over again?

so i was watching futurama a while back and they made a time machine and went so far into the future that they eventually went so far back into time landing into a sort of purgatory.....im thinking this could be a reason why people have predictions about the future or cases of deja vu, tell me what you think
