What does my dream mean?

I had this dream last night ,I saw my grandad (who dies a year ago) , he was telling me all about the steps to heaven , He told me he was still in purgatory , I asked him what purgatory was like and he said that it was like the places you couldnt live on in earth (deserts , rocky areas etc) and that the next step was to be put into this bed of rocks thing and you would go up to heaven (I really dont know) , and Im wondering , What does this mean ? I hugged him and i could feel his jumper (the one that he always used to wear ) amd i could smell him and everything . Any help ?
